MHA - According to a survey conducted in the UK, 57yüzde of the business community expects an economic recession this year. Businesses are demanding the government to simplify the tax system, reduce tax rates and encourage investment.
Recent surveys conducted in the UK show that the business community is concerned about the economic recession and is demanding various economic measures from the government. In particular, businesses are calling for the simplification of the tax system and reduction of tax rates. Shevaun Haviland, Director General of the British Chamber of Commerce (BCC), stated that businesses have billions of pounds of private capital planned to invest in the UK economy and emphasized that the government should take steps to pave the way for these investments. In particular, businesses are demanding that the "full expense reduction" policy, which provides 100yüzde tax relief on capital expenditures, be made permanent. It is stated that this step could increase investment by approximately 50 billion pounds per year and increase the size of the economy by 2yüzde by 2030/31. Businesses also point out that increases in the minimum wage and employer national insurance premiums are increasing costs, which could negatively impact efforts to stabilise inflation, particularly in the retail sector.
